My scary story--I'm not even lying!

So, last Sunday morning around 5:30am I was feeding Brigham while getting a few zzzz's. He reached his hand over just below my neck and kinda scratched me. Well, I thought that hurt. Then I thought, wait that really hurt, he scratched me good. I got out of bed to look in the mirror. The first thing I saw was 2 little red marks. Yikes, my first thought was spider (we have seen black widows in our garage)! I ran back to the bed to see if I could find whatever it was and because I knew Brigham was there! I looked all over the bed, behind it, and then looked down. When I looked down I saw a small scorpion just below my waist stuck to my pajamas! I knew I couldn't swat it away so I quickly grabbed a blanket and snatched the scorpion up and killed it. Yeah, so it stung, but I was even more terrified because I know that it was so close to Brigham! He really did reach his hand up and I think he startled the scorpion and then it stung me. That means his hand was right there. I handled the sting very well, but I don't think his little body would have been so lucky! I said some extra "thank you" prayers the next couple of days! I still have the scorpion (it's kinda squished) and will post pictures of it later. I have been shaking out all our bedding, checking in shoes, etc. the last week. I could go for awhile without another scary story!

Oh Emme!

So our darling 2nd child gives us more than we can handle sometimes. We love Emme and we are sure she is very gifted, but man does she have to be so messy?!? I think I have tried to block out all the BIG messes she has made and there have been a lot of them. She is very creative and can get to anything, even if it is hidden very well. So yesterday I was fixing dinner and Emmalee went to go play with Brigham while he was in his crib. They were just playing and having a fun time. I went to check on her and my mouth dropped open! There was Emme in the crib with no clothes on (she says clothes make her sweat too much!) and she was RED from her neck to her toes. She was absolutely covered in red paint, and I mean covered!!! She found a stray bottle of craft paint and took it upon herself to redecorate a bit. Considering how much she had on herself there was not that much in other places. It was on the wall, the crib, Brigham's bedding, BUT she didn't get any on Brigham (any ideas how to get paint out of bedding?)! When I first saw her I actually had to walk out of the room for a second to decide what I was going to do. I was mad, but knew someday this would be funny (today is still not that day). I wanted to take pictures to document this occasion, but I could only bring myself to take a picture with my phone. After some of my anger wore off I looked at her with my stern look and then she laughed. I have to admit I had to try to keep myself from laughing. She never ceases to amaze us with her creativity. I just hope someday it will pay off and she will be rich and famous and be able to support her kind parents who tried not to kill her when she was 3!

Happy Birthday Ashlee!

We celebrated Ashlee's 5th Birthday on Saturday, September 13th (her actual birthday). She had so much fun. We are now overloaded with High School Musical and Hannah Montana dress ups, karaoke, games and such. Wait. . . isn't she only 5? Boy, are we in trouble. We had grandparents, Uncle Trav and Aunt Laur and Kids, Aunt Celeste, and Julie and kids. I thought it was just going to be small, but for some reason it seemed like there were a ton of people! It was pretty crazy, but those are the best!
I really think that Ashlee loved the attention. She loved posing for all the pictures after she opened her gifts. She loved everything! Thanks everyone!

Growing so fast!

Brigham is already 3 months old. He is such a chunk and so super cute. At his 2 mo. appointment he was above the 97% for height and weight. He is so good. We love him so much. He has the cutest thighs, they are so big! He is smiling lots and is close to laughing. It is almost sad how fast they grow. I already miss him being so small!

Ok! Ok! Ok!

So I have realized that just because we have a blog does not make us bloggers! We have to earn that status. I don't know if I am really up to the title, but we are still going to try.
Since our last post we have added a super cute member to our family. Brigham Loyal Bueler was born March 10th at 11:23 pm. He was 2 weeks early, but weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz and was 21 inches long. He had a little bit of light hair. Everything went perfectly, after the doctor accidently broke my water during a visit. We were only in the hospital for 24 hours. Brigham has been the best baby ever. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old. He is so good natured and is loved immensely by his sisters! We are so glad to have him in our family!

We are bloggers!

We are jumping on the bandwagon and joining the world of blogging. We will see how it goes, but we want to share what it going on with our lives and keep a record of our family.
